​Nos précédents projets comprennent une mission financée par l’USAID en Ouganda pour la Smithsonian Institution, un projet financé par le Département de la Défense des États-Unis pour l’Université de Princeton, ainsi que des évaluations environnementales et des projets de recherche avec les communautés autochtones du Canada.

Co-founder and President

Dr. Isabelle-Anne Bisson is an expert in environmental impact and community needs assessment, helping communities and organizations achieve sustainability. Julia Harnad, M.Sc. 

Consultant & Strategic Partner

Ms. Harnad is a sustainable development professional, with over 17 years of experience in environmental operations. She has demonstrated leadership in developing and managing a wide range of programs related to waste management, renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable development strategy and policy.

Valerie Karonhiatakwen Gabriel, 

Consultant & Strategic Partner

Ms. Gabriel is a Mohawk of Kanesatake, and is the owner of Nations Garlic, a certified organic farm located on Kanesatake Mohawk Territory. Currently working as an environmental and agricultural consultant to the Mohawk Communities of Kanesatake and Kahnawà:ke as well as other native, and  non-native organizations outside of these two communities. 

Nathalie Gendron, M.Sc.

Consultant & Strategic Partner

After a successful career in computer science, the call of nature prompted Ms. Gendron to go back to school to complete a bachelor's and master's degree in biology. Although she specializes in ornithology, she is also currently learning and gaining experience on the identification of plants in order to be able to conduct floristic inventories.

Tianai Zhou, M.Sc.

Research Assistant

After finishing her master's degree in Bioresource Engineering at McGill, Ms. Zhou joins TerraHumana Solutions 2020, as an independent consultant for the First Nations Environmental Contaminants Program in the Mohawk community of Kanesatake. She specializes in heavy metal contamination in agricultural scenarios and has great interest in environment-human interaction in a broad sense.

Gabrielle Ednie, ECO Canada Intern & Research Assistant

Ms. Ednie is a recent graduate of McGill University, having completed an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology. She joins TerraHumana Solutions for the spring and summer of 2020 as an intern before pursuing a Master’s degree in the fall. She will be assisting the Hudson community in assessing the biodiversity of a local wetland and helping in the creation of a toolkit for citizen scientists.
